OPI--A Surprise Guest Speaker

Hello everyone! Last Monday in my Introduction of Beauty classes, we had a surprise guest speakers from OPI! Her name was Marthina, Director of International Trade Marketing. I can say this much, at the end of speech I was so amazed and motived! I can't even seem to recall when the last time I got inspired by a guest speaker. Her job title says it all! Marthina is a sophisticated business women that loves her jobs and are passionate about what she does. Her word of advice was to not hesitate on grabbing an oppurtunity when it presents itself.

Networking is important in this beauty industry so we shouldn't burn bridges because you'll never know when you're going to have to work with he/she. The reason why she inspired be is because the way she presented herself. She's so confidence and yet she's so classy. I myself think it was such a great honor to meet someone in the OPI (Nail Enamel) industry. I'll definitely won't forget this guest speaker! I hope all of you have an inspiration when it comes to the career you love most. Do what you love and having a career won't feel like a job, but something you'd love waking up to do everyday. (:

tarte, Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush

Hello beauties! So I've been working on project the whole day and I came across this amazing blush that I've heard such great reviews on. I've never used any of 'tarte' cosmetics. YES I KNOW! WHAT A SHAME! ): The reason being is that I never knew tarte is such a great natural line and they believe in cruelty-free, paraben-free, mineral oil free, and so forth. I really wanted to try this Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush. YES the title of this blush is what it really does. It's a very long lasting blush that's wearable throughout the day, plus there's vitamin a, e, and c! Another thing I find really interesting is the ingredient of beeswax.

It's a natural ingredient that acts like a waterproof agent. What this does is that it creates a barrier on top of your skin and blocks the toxic environment out. So if you ever get the chance to check out these amazing blush at Sephora, don't hesitate to sample them out! These blushes comes in 8 different colors from soft pink (dollface) to deep berry (flush). They run about $25 USD but they're definitely worth for the price. Amazonian clay can be worn with any skintypes from normal, dry, to oily. Shoot me a comment if you have any questions or if you have this product, how do you like it? Is it as great as it sounds? Thanks for reading guys! (:

Tips and Tricks on how to use mascaras

Hello everyone! Today is finally Makeup Mondays! I would like to talk more about mascaras and how you can assemble a mascara with these tips and tricks! So there's many ways of using a mascara, but this can be a tip on how to properly use a mascara.

There are 3 steps on how to apply a mascara properly.

First, you'll have to wiggle your wand from left to right from the base of your lashes, not the tip.
Second, while still wiggling your wand, go ahead and pull the wand up through the lashes.
Lastly, close your eyes and comb through your lashes starting from the base, removing excess of clumping.

I usually don't do the last step because the mascara I use usually don't clump my lashes. However, if your mascara does clump your lashes, go ahead and do the last step!

Having too much clumps on your lashes??
Here's a great tip on how to un-clump those lashes!

-After applying mascara on your lashes, use a lash comb and wiggle through the tips of your lashes to separate and un-clump the lashes.

-Another way is to wipe the wand with a tissue to remove the excess blob of mascara on the wand. This will create a cleaner applications with no clumping.

Overall, mascaras are fun to use and they create this bold look for your eyes. Like they always say..

"Your eyes are the window of your souls"

Hopefully this all works out for you! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me! I'll shoot back a comment! (:

Lime Crime Lipstick

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday today! (: I've recently discovered a new brand called "Lime Crime" for their wonderful artistic lipsticks! I haven't brought their products yet, but I was wondering if any of you guys have gotten your hands on these! Their makeup line is very fun and artistic. The lipsticks seems to be very pigmented with opaque colors. I honestly want to get my hands on these, but I'm also looking for the right moment to buy. I've heard a lot of great thing about this cruelty-free makeup brand, and is definitely interested in trying it myself. If any of you have any suggestions of what colors I should get, give me a comment! Thank you (:

Product Reviews: Clarisonic

Hello! How's everyone doing over the Labor Day weekend? Hopefully you guys are doing good! (: Today I'm reviewing on Clarisonic and the experiences that I've been getting by using this product. Some of you may already have this product and some of you may think on buying this product or maybe you just don't have any interest on investing a Clarisonic of your own.

I hope this can actually change your mind on investing in a Clarisonic product because I think it's the most innovative product that I've ever invested in. First of all, Clarisonic works into your pores to clean up the dirt, oil, and makeup residue that's been backed up during the day! This product will get your skin to breathe and create better looking healthy skin. Clarisonic works through your skin to clean at least 6 times of more makeup than manual cleansing. This product usually consist of clarisonic brush heads for sensitive, dry, normal, and acne. A battery charger and Clarisonic's skin care regimens.

Although they provide my skin care and travel ancillaries, I usually use my own cleanser, which is Shisheido White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam. Basically, whichever skin care regimen you're most comfortable with can be used while using Clarisonic. Not a day go by when I don't use Clarisonic because it always leaves my skin so smooth and clean! When my skin is able to breathe, skin care application is easier to be applied on because it actually helps your skin care work through the skin giving you better results.

Clarisonic comes in different colors too! There's purple, pink, blue, green, yellow! You name it, they'll have it. This product ranges from $119 USD to $225, depending on their speeds and function. I actually don't really care about the speed because I literally use the product for only a minute and it already gives me results. Otherwise if you're looking for to use Clarisonic on your body as an exfoliator, then a higher speed is a better choice. It's also great for traveling too! Clarisonic is a pricey product but it's really worth the price for what it actually does for your skin. If you brought a Clarisonic, leave me a comment and let me know what your thoughts are on it! (: Have a great day everyone! (:

Fun Nail Fridays: A Fun Cool Design

Hey guys! I thought this nail design is super cute! I wanted to do a nail tutorial but I didn't have time to do it. I should start investing in more fun polishes like this! This is an inspirational nail design that I want to experiment with soon. Doesn't it look fun though?

What I've noticed nowadays is by having different design on each nails. It's fun and colorful, plus it's very trendy. Neon colors are definitely trending this summertime, but black and white seems to appear along with these nail designs. Either way, I really enjoy looking at different nail designs because it's fun and creational. Have you done your nails like this?? Leave me a comment and let me know what you want to see in my next tutorial! Have a great day everyone! (:

My Daily Look Makeup Tutorial.

Hey everyone! How are you guys doing? It's been quite hot and muggy in LA lately, hopefully it'll cool down soon! Today I'll be doing a tutorial on my daily makeup look. I tend to not wear eyeshadows a lot because I just want something that'd get me through the day without looking too overdone. The products that I used for this tutorial is:

Skincare:
-Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm (SPF 25)
-Benefit Eye Cream
-Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

Makeup Products:
-Bobbi Brown Bronzer/Blush Duo (Bahama Brown & Pink Peony)
-Bobbi Brown Illuminating Finish Powder (SPF 12) (Warm Beige 3.5)
-Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick (Warm Beige 3.5)
-Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner (Black Ink)
-Laura Mercier Brow Definer (Warm)
-Diorshow Iconic (090)
-Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum
-MAC Fascinating Ruby eyeshadow palette (Carbon)
-MAC Lipstick (Amplified)
-Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eyeliner pencil (Zero)
-Red Cherry Eyelashes

Moisturizing before you do you makeup in the morning is very important. Having a moisturizer with an SPF is also a bonus because we want to protect our skin from UV Rays and UVB. Start off with a fresh face, I applied Benefit Eye cream around my eye area.
Even though I'm not that old, it's always important to use eye cream for hydration and it's never too early to start. I used Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm (SPF 25) for my daily moisturizer and SPF for coverage. This is actually for dry skin because my skin gets dry patches sometimes, it's always good to use a moisturizer that's fit for your skin too.

After the skincare regimen, I used a dime sized of Laura Mercier Foundation Primer all over my face. This primer will help keep my makeup on throughout the day. When the primer is dry, I then used Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick (Warm Beige 3.5) and smooth it out with a foundation brush or any brush that you're most comfortable with. I usually use Bobbi Brown Illuminating Finish Powder (Warm Beige 3.5) to finish my look.
This leaves a silky soft matte look because I'm really not into the dewy look as much. This compact also have SPF 12 which protects me from the UV Rays! I recently started using Bobbi Brown Bronzer/Blush Duo and I'm super in love with it. It has a combination of bronzer and blush all in one compact, plus the colors are pretty wearable.
So I usually brush the blush on the apple of my cheeks and the bronzer around my cheeks, under my jawlines, the bridge of my nose, and a bit on my temple. Try not to use a lot of blush because a little goes a long way. After finishing up with the bronzer and blush, I start doing my eyebrows with Laura Mercier Brow Definer (Warm). I start off doing an outline on my eyebrows before filling them in because I find it easier to shape them.
Next, I use Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (Black Ink) and draw my cat eyes. Here, I'm trying to show you how I do my cat eyes, making the wings is hard but it get's easier overtime. I crimp my lashes with Shu Uemura Eyelash curler and start doing my Diorshow Maximizer below my lashes. Because I'll be using fake eyelashes, I won't use the primer on my top lashes.

Finish it with a Diorshow Iconic mascara on both top and lower lashes.

Using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eyeliner pencil (Zero), I outline my waterline. I finish the waterline with MAC Fascinating Ruby eyeshadow palette (Carbon) that the eyeliner would stay on for the rest of the day. Finally, I used Red Cherry Eyelashes to finish off my daily look. Not sure what the Red Cherry Eyelashes number/design are because I got them awhile back ago, but any lashes that you like are always good too! I used MAC Amplified lipstick to finish off my look. I usually use different color lipsticks too, it depends on my mood but it's always vibrant or natural. If you've done this look, leave me a comment and tell me how it went! Thanks for reading guys! Beauty Chat in Social Media Class

Our Social Media class had created a twitter chat for the classmates to participate in and be involved during our class time. Everyone would go around and ask a beauty question. It can be anything from, Where do you get your beauty products from to what's your favorite beauty products? My favorite question was from Lisalyn @BeautyByLisalyn "What beauty product do you carry with you at all times? mine is my eye curler and some lipgloss

The most popular answers were lipgloss, lip balm, and lipsticks. Everyone loves carrying around some kind of lip products that will get them through the day. Mines happens to be any lipstick colors that I'm wearing for the day. (: What's beauty products do you carry with you at all times? Leave me a comment! (:

Water Marble Nail Designs Tutorial.

How is everyone doing today?! Hopefully well! (: Today is Fun Nail Fridays!!Aren't you guys excited? Because I know I am! Today I'll be showing you how to do 'Water Marble' nail design tutorial. To be honest with you guys, it's not an easy tutorial, so hopefully I'll work it out and help you through this tutorial so that you'll be able to do this Water Marble on your own. The products I used for this tutorial is:

Orly (Rubberized Basecoat)
Seche Vite (Topcoat)
OPI (Alphine Snow)
Nubar (Hot Fuchsia)

Tools:
Tape, Orange Stick,
Needle/Toothpick,
Acetone/Nail Polish Remover,
Plastic Cup,
Distilled Water
Cotton

Before doing this nail tutorial, set everything up beside you so that you'll easily grab the tools that you'll be needing for this tutorial. I usually set aside a needle (or toothpick), Acetone (nail polish remover), Cotton (for cleaning process), Orange stick, and a plastic cup that contains distilled water. When you're done setting up your tools, go ahead and prep your nails like usual.

File and cut your nails and go ahead and put a basecoat on. Like I said, basecoat is very important because it helps protects your nails from discoloration and keeps your nails strong! So always put a basecoat on when you're doing any nail designs or a simple polished.

After putting on the basecoat, paint your nails with a white nail polish. I used "Alphine Snow" OPI for this design. The white polish is like a base coat before putting on other bright colors because it'll make your polish stand out more and the colors are more vibrant. When the polish dries, put tape around your cuticle.

This is a really messy nail design job, so we don't want to waste time cleaning after doing water marble. Take your Alphine Snow OPI and Nubar Hot Fuchsia and start dipping the colors one at a time in the water cup. This will eventually create a bulls eye. Take your needle/toothpick, create a design on the water. I usually make a flower for this water marble design.

Do this process quickly because you don't want your paint to dry out in the water! When you're done with the design and you're satisfied with it, dip your finger on top of that design. Leave your finger in the water and grab your orange stick. Taking your orange stick, take out all the access of the paint out of the water. The paint will grab onto your orange stick easily.

Carefully take your finger out of the water and start peeling the tape off your fingers gently. You can clean up the mess with Acetone or nail polish remover, which ever your prefer.

Finally, use Topcoat to give your nails a finishing touch. TAH-DAH! You've created a water marble nail design! It's not easy but practice always makes perfect! Oh, and you can use any colors you want for this nail design, I just happened to use white and hot fuchsia! (: Hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Have you had a chance to do this water marble? Leave me a comment and tell me your thoughts on it! (:

Lady Gaga FAME Perfume

As you all may know, today was Lady Gaga's new fragrance launched. EVERYONE was excited to smell Lady Gaga's fragrance! Even I was excited and stoked about it!

As you all may know a little something about me, I actually work at the Women Fragrance department in Macy's. So today I got a chance to try the fragrance and see if I actually liked it or not. To my surprise, the fragrance bottle itself was adoring! It felt like there's wayyyy too many celebrity fragrances to begin with, but to my surprise it was actually a nice wearable scent.

Her fragrance is also sold in Sephora! She describes her fragrance as a "black fluid that exudes a lustful, floral, fruity essences for her fabulous little monster." Yes, the bottle is actually a clear bottle but the fragrance itself is black fluid. However, when you spray the fragrance it  becomes invisible once airborne. This fragrance was actually the first black fluid fragrance to be created. It was created in Paris, France, and took up to two years to make. I believe that Lady Gaga really wanted to create a fragrance that was really her. She's definitely achieved a wonderful fragrance that'll sell out.

I'd recommend this fragrance because it's also in Eau de Parfum. For those that don't know what Eau de Parfum means, it's when the fragrance has more oils extract to them. By having more oil extract to the fragrance, it'll last longer when you wear it. Her fragrance price points aren't so bad either, this 1.7 fl oz is $55. Large bottle (3.4 fl oz) is $79 with a metal cap.

The notes for this fragrance is:
Belladonna, Incense, Apricot, Honey Drops, Tiger Orchidea, & Jasmin Sambac.

Are you one of Lady Gaga's monster and have you tried the new fragrance yet? If so, leave me a comment and tell me what your thoughts on this fragrance! (: Have a great day everyone and hope you enjoyed this fragrance review! (:

Trending: Caviar Nails

There's so many nails design that's trending nowadays! I literally can't get enough of it because all these nails design are so cool and pretty! One of the nail designs that I haven't done are the "Caviar Nails." Has any one of you done this caviar nail designs yet? Well, I did a little research on the nail design and thought, oh hey it looks pretty easy to do! What are your thoughts on the Caviar nails? One of my problems that I've observed is that the Caviar isn't meant to last long on your fingertips. The reason being is that you're applying the caviar before your nail polishes or top coat dries up.

Another big downfall because when you do your nails, you want them to last long and to look great! I've noticed that caviar nail designs have been around for almost a year now, but I haven't came around to doing a "caviar" nail design just yet. I do know that it's really fun to do and that any one of you can create a cool caviar effect. You can do caviar designs for the rest of your nails or your statement nails. Another creative ideas to do caviar is by doing an ombre effect, stripes, or polka dots. Whatever it is, make it known that you've created a new look for your nails! I'm also sure that there's a lot of places that are selling DIY Caviar Nails. Have you done it or are you hesitate to try it yourself? Leave me a comment and let me know what your thoughts are on Caviar Nails? Have a great day everyone! Hope you're staying cool, especially from this LA heat! :P

Fun Nail Fridays: The Hunger Games (China Glaze) Tutorial

How is everyone doing today? (: I brought two nail polishes from China Glaze, "The Hunger Games" collection! The colors I brought was "Hook and Line" and "Electrify." The color "Hook the Line" is a bit of a gray metallic color. The "Electrify" color is very glittery, with the colors of red and gold. I really love this glitter polish because it's very chunky and goes on super glittery. Well, I decided to do a different kind of nails tutorial instead. Hopefully you guys could enjoy doing it as much as I did! (: The products that I used for this nail designs tutorial is:

- Tape
- China Glaze (Hook and Line)
- China Glaze (Electrify)
- Orly (Base Coat)
- Seche Vite (Top Coat)

First thing you do is to prep your nails. After you finish prepping your nails, go ahead and put "Base Coat" on your nails. In this case, I used the Orly "Base Coat."When you're done with the base coat, paint your nails with China Glaze (Hook and Line). Wait for a good 5-10 minutes until your nails dries. You'll be putting tapes on your nails so you want it to fully dry good.

Go ahead and cut the tape into little square pieces. Create a "V" shape on the top of the nail bed and another "V" shape on the bottom tip. It's like creating a boarder. After that, take the China Glaze "Electrify" glitter polishes and paint it inside of the "V" shaped boarder. Do this for the rest of your other nails. When the glitter polishes dries, carefully peel off the tape.

Finally, paint the top coat onto your nails. This will seal your polishes, making it last longer and it'll give your nails a shine. I hope you guys enjoyed this nails tutorial! If you did this design at home, comment me and tell me what your thoughts about it! Thanks for reading guys! (:

Diorshow Iconic & Diorshow Maximizer

Do you have a hard time finding out what mascara fits right for you? I've been asked a lot on what kinds of mascara do I prefer and what's so great about the mascara I use. Well, to start off, I'm obsessively in love with Dior's Mascara. Nothing beats the way the mascara goes onto my lashes. Perhaps it's the formula that I love or the way the brush is created, I haven't changed my mind about Dior's Mascara in years. Either you want a thickening, lengthening, waterproof, or no-clumps mascara, Dior has it all.

My all time favorite is the Diorshow Iconic (Noir-Rich Black) #090. This mascara is $28.50 USD, a bit pricey but the mascara is amazing. The Diorshow Iconic is best known for it's curling formula, no-clumps, and lengthening your lashes all at the same time. The reason being is that the mascara brush is an oblique plastic brush that's able to curl and define your lashes. It's not your typical mascara is you're asking me. Dior came out with this mascara before anyone has an idea of this oblique plastic brush. Iconic is proven to last up to 24 hours of curls and 100% smudge proof! What I always do is prime my lashes before I use Diorshow Iconic.

The primer that I use is Dior's new eyelash primer, Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum. This primer is $28 USD, same price range as the Iconic. This primer has the same oblique plastic brush as the Iconic, except the formula is white! This is a primer that primes my lashes before I use mascara. While it's priming my lashes, it's also a serum that helps my lashes with growth, strength, and vitality. What amazes me is after I prime my lashes with this Maximizer, I then use Iconic on top of the primer making my lashes look longer and fuller! If any of you tried these mascaras before, go ahead and leave me a comment! Did you like the mascara or was it not what you were looking for? Hopefully you found this posting a little more helpful. (: I’ll definitely try to review other mascara for you guys in the near future!

Makeup Mondays: The Nudes

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's been having a great day! (: I've been pretty busy with school all day, but I had to make time for some beauty blogging too! Today I'll be creating "The Nude" look. It's a really great look when you just want to look casual or at least have some makeup on without looking too dramatic. The beauty products that I've used for this look is:

-Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette (Praline, Pink Chandelier, and Champagne Truffle)
-Bobbi Brown Gel Liner (Black Ink)
-Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara)
-Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion
-Urban Decay Nude Palette (Virgin)
-Diorshow Maximizer Primer

To Start off, I primed my eyes with the Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion. I applied Bobbi Brown (Praline) to the inner corner of my eyes. (Keep on patting (Praline) onto the inner corner of your eyes until you're satisfied with the color.) I then applied (Champagne Truffle) to the outer corner of my eyes. This color is a shade darker than (Praline), which blends in really well. I then blended it toward (Praline), and added (Pink Chandelier) toward the inner corner of my eyes and on the lid. Blend the (Pink Chandelier) so that it'll give you that sparkly finish.

Then, using Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin), I highlighted my brow bone. After doing the eyeshadows, I used Bobbi Brown Gel Liner (Black Ink) as my eyeliner. I used Urban Decay Glide-On 24/7 Eyeliner (Zero) for my waterline. I feel that this gives me a less heavy dramatic look, so I usually use eyeliner pencil for my waterline instead. I primed my lashes with Diorshow Maximizer Primer and Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara). Although you can't see the nudes on my eyes as much, the colors are actually there. It's a really sheer nude look that I was really going for. Nothing too dramatic because I wore a red lipstick with this look. You can top this look with any vibrant lipstick of your choice besides red! (: If you have any questions on the tutorial, please do leave a comment! Did you get a chance to do this "Nude" look too? (:

Fun Nail Fridays: White & A bit of Gold.

How is everyone doing today? The heat is really getting to me because it’s been way too hot! So today is “FUN NAIL FRIDAYS!” I wanted to do “Fun Nail Fridays” every single Fridays and to show you how to do your own nails! (: Just like makeup, nails are essential to our look. To me it’s another form of art but on my nails instead! I’m obsessed with nail polishes and I always try to do something new. This nail tutorial is really easy and fun to do. It looks simple and yet classy. The product I’ve used for this nail tutorial is:

Orly (Rubberized Basecoat),
Seche Vite (Topcoat),
OPI (Alphine Snow),
Kiss brush on nailart paint (Gold glitters),
Acetone,
Nail Brush.

To start off, prep your nails before you do any nail designs. This will make your design stand out and look clean. After I finish prepping my nails, I paint the Orly (Rubberized Basecoat) on. I suggest everyone to use a basecoat before painting your nails because it protects your nail bed from discoloration and keeps the polishes on longer. When the basecoat dries, go ahead and paint your nails with any white nail polishes. In this case, I used OPI (Alpine Snow) for this nail design. I usually do double coatings because the color is more consistent and vibrant. After that, go ahead and use any gold glitters nail art polishes. The Kiss brush on nailart paint has a thin brush to it, making it easier to do this design.

Taking my time, I painted a straight line on the cuticle. Turning the brush toward the corner of the cuticle, you create a corner boarder effect.

Do this for all your nails and don’t worry if nail polishes gets on your skin because you can clean it up with a brush and acetone afterward. When you’re done with the glitters, clean up your mistakes with acetone carefully. The last thing you’ll do is top your nail design with a Topcoat. I used Seche Vita (Topcoat), but you can use any topcoat that you’re most comfortable with. I hope this tutorial helped you out! If you did your nails like this, go ahead and write me a comment! Any questions? Don’t hesitate to ask me! (: Have a great day everyone!!

Makeup Tutorial: Smoky eyes w/a hint of Blue

It's been a breezy/hot day in LA, California! How's everyone doing today?? Today I'll be blogging about how to do a smoky eye with a hint of blue. Sometimes we need to change it up a bit and put a hint of light colors into our smoky eyes! This look is really great for going out at night or whenever you feel like dressing up for the day. To start, here's the beauty products that I've used for this look.

Urban Decay Eye Primer,
Urban Decay Stardust (Bobby Dazzle),
Urban Decay Glide-On 24/7 Eyeliner (Zero),
Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin & Gunmetal),
Laura Mercier Brow Definer (Warm),
MAC Eyeliner (Out to Sea),
MAC eyeshadow (Belle Azure),
Bobbi Brown Gel Liner (Black Ink),
Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara), &
Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum.

To start off, I used Urban Decay Eye Primer and let it set for a bit. I then took the MAC eyeliner (Out of Sea) and drew it on the outer corner of my eyes and on my waterline. This gave me a base color so that when I use the MAC eyeshadow (Belle Azure), the color would pop out more. Belle Azure is then used on top of the MAC eyeliner (Out of Sea).

After that, I shaded the outer color and lid with Urban Decay Naked Palette (Gunmetal). Although this is grayish, the color blends in really well with the blue. However, if you want to use a black eyeshadow to create this smoky eye, it's fine too. After shading and blending the colors together with Belle Azure, I started to blend in Urban Decay Stardust (Bobby Dazzle). The more you blend, the less harsh lines you'll see. There's no right or wrong answer, blend till you see that you're satisfied with the look. I ended the smoky eyes with an Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin) on the high brow bone.

After doing all the shading and blending, I drew in my eyeliner with Bobbi Brown Gel Liner (Black Ink). I really like this gel liner and I've been using it for about 2 years now but it goes on really smoothly and the liner stays on all day long! But whichever you prefer to do your liner is good too! (: I then used Diorshow Maximizer to prime my lashes and Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara) on my top and bottom lashes. I ended it with Urban Decay Glide-On 24/7 Eyeliner (Zero) on my waterline. If you have any questions on this tutorial, please do leave me a comment! If you've done something different or what me to do a different makeup tutorial, do leave me a comment on the bottom! Hopefully you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did! (:

Makeup Monday: Purple Smoky Eyeshadow Tutorial

Hello everyone! Today I'll be showing you how to do a purple smoky eyeshadow! The first thing you need to know about me is that I loveeee the color purple! I just can't get enough of it! (: This makeup tutorial usually takes about 30-35 minutes to do, so take your time if you really have too! There's no rush when you're trying to create a smoky eye for the night! The items that I've used are:

Diorshow Maximizer (It's like a primer for your eyelashes), Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara),
Bobbi Brown Gel liner (Black Ink),
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Pencil (Zero),
Urban Decay Stardust (Retrograde & Bobby Dazzle),
Urban Decay Naked Palette,
Urban Decay Eye Primer,
Laura Mercier Brow Definer (Warm),
& brushes to create this look.

NOTE: You don't have to use the same products as me. Any colors and shades is recommendable and which ever brushes you prefer when you're shading and blending your eyeshadows too!

I first started off with my brow. I like to finish my brow before starting onto my eye makeup. To shade in my brows, I used an angle brush along with Laura Mercier Brow Definer (Warm) pot. After I finished shading and shaping my eyebrows, I took a brow brush and started to lightly shaped my brows with small light strokes. After my brows are done, I put on Urban Decay Eye Primer on my lids.A little goes a long way, so I let it sit for a bit. I then start the inside crease with Urban Decay Stardust (Bobby Dazzle). Bobby Dazzle is a whitish pale color with lots of glitter in them.On the outer corner, I used Urban Decay Naked Palette (Creed) and shade it toward my lids (Creed is a black sparkly color).

I then used Urban Decay Stardust "Retrograde" on the lids and started to blend the colors with Creed. I later used Bobby Dazzle on the inside crease and blended it a bit with Retrograde. I ended the eyeshadow with the Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin) as a highlight on the brow bone. After the eyeshadow is done, I used Bobbi Brown Gel Liner (Black Ink) and created my cat eye look. (Keep in mind that you can create which ever cat eye or liner that you'd much prefer! For me, I'd prefer the cat eye.) I then used Diorshow Maximizer to prime my lashes. A Primer is something that'll plump up your lashes and makes it seem longer than it appears.

To me, it's a life safer because I don't have a lot of lashes, but overlapping this with another black mascara creates wonder! I layer the Maximizer Primer with Bobbi Brown Mascara (Everything Mascara). I then used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Pencil (Zero) on my waterline and TA-DA! You just created your own purple smoky eye for the night! (: Hope you guys enjoyed the tutorials! I know it's quite a bit of reading, but I'm sure you'll get it! Makeup is suppose to be fun! You can always fix your mistakes, so don't frown if you don't get the skills right away! (: Post a comment if you've got a chance to do this tutorial or if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for reading! (:

Beauty Product Review : Urban Decay Stardust eyeshadows

There's so many eyeshadow glitters out there, but I seem to never find the right one. Has that ever happen to you? I usually buy eyeshadows because they look really sparkly and shiny, but when I actually have the time to put it on my eyes, the glitters on the eyeshadow never seem to stay on! I get pretty frustrated because it seems like all this glitter won't stick on my lids right. But not anymore! I've found the best glitter eyeshadows! (: Urban Decay Stardust is the best glitter eyeshadows that's been out in the market. Not only are they glittery, their colors are pretty too! I only brought two colors and they are "Retrograde" and "Bobby Dazzle." The Retrograde is more of a light purple but with lots and lots of glitters in them. The Bobby Dazzle is one of Urban Decay's best selling colors. It's also a whitish pale color with glitters. It basically evens out your eyeshadow if you're trying to use it for shading or a highbrow highlight. You can also use it alone and let your eyes shine with glitters! (: I usually put on the Urban Decay eye primer before using these eyeshadows because it usually last longer throughout the day and that these eyeshadow would stick on better.

What I like best about the Urban Decay Stardust is the thought they put in the packaging. Have you seen Urban Decay's eyeshadows packaging before? Well, this is packaged differently than their usual eyeshadow packagings. Just squeeze or pinch the side of the eyeshadow and the lid automatically pop open. Pretty fancy if you ask me.

I've swatched the colors onto my arms for you guys to take a good look at. The flash was too bright, but the colors are a little bit more darker and had more glitters than the picture itself.
I've only invested in two colors because these eyeshadows costed at least $20 USD each. Maybe I'll invest in more colors in the near future, but for now I'll stick to these two. (: There's more colors from the Stardust line that you can also check out on UrbanDecayCosmetics.com. If any of you tried these Urban Decay Stardust eyeshadows before, please leave a comment of what you thought about it. (: Again, thanks for reading!

Makeup Review : Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks

Hello guys!

How is everyone doing today? (: good I'm guessing?? Today I'll be reviewing on one of my favorite products of Bobbi Brown. Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks is one of her newest products. I've decided to try one, but I ended up buying two! The colors I brought was "Blushed Rose" & "Pale Pink." Blushed rose had a tint of red and brown in them. The Pale Pink is more of a sheer light pink color. I also swatched the colors on my arms for you guys to look at below.

The colors are very natural and fun, plus it's a multi-tasking cream for the cheeks & lips! You can put a pinch on your cheeks and it'll give you that sheer rosy color. If you have dry skin, I suggest you moisturize up because it can dry up your cheeks. The Pot Rouge would most likely dry up quickly on the skin as it would be on the lips.

The great thing about this product is the way it goes onto my lips. It doesn't feel like a lipstick or a lipgloss. After awhile, it looks more like a lip stain, which I prefer because sometimes I feel like going natural on my lips but I still want that flush lip color. This product gives me the color that I want without looking too dolled up on a casual day. The Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks is about $25. The downfall about this product is the prices. I wish it was a little more affordable because there's so many pretty colors to get but you're limited to get more because of the prices. Another downfall on this product is that it dries up your lips. Because it is a stain, the lip color dries up quickly. But overall, I enjoy using this Pot Rounge. If any of you tried this beauty product, please do comment below! (:
